Each year the Town Council, along with all other local authorities, has to provide a summary of its Accounts for the previous financial year. This is done in the form of an Annual Governance and Accounting Return that is submitted to a nominated external audit company for evaluation.   For the year 2022-2023, the nominated external auditors are BDO LLP.   Details of their procedures can be found on their website.

The Annual Return is available for inspection by any elector of the Redruth North, Central, and South Wards or their representative. The Annual Return may be inspected on application to Helen Bardle, Responsible Financial Officer, Redruth Civic Centre, Alma Place, Redruth, when any local government elector may make copies of the annual return.
