The feedback we gather through this survey will form the backbone of Redruth Town Council’s new Five-Year strategic Plan, which we will publish in March 2026. This Plan will outline the Council’s priorities and areas of focus between 2026 and 2031. It will act as a guide for decision-making, planning, and allocating resources over that period.
For this to truly reflect the needs and hopes of our community, we need to hear from as many residents as possible, including you.
Your voice matters. Whether you’ve lived in Redruth for a short time or for generations, your experiences, concerns, and ideas are valuable
We understand that not everything is within the direct control of Redruth Town Council. Some services and decisions—such as highways, education, and social care—are the responsibility of Cornwall Council or other public bodies. However, that doesn’t mean your voice won’t make a difference.
Redruth Town Council can lobby Cornwall Council and other agencies for improvements or changes where they’re needed. We can apply for external funding to support local projects that make a difference.Your input will help us decide how to prioritise and use the powers and resources we do have in ways that benefit the town and parish as a whole.
The more we understand your priorities, the more effectively we can act on them. That might mean maintaining local green spaces, supporting community organisations, improving the look and feel of the town centre, or exploring new opportunities for investment and growth.
We are listening, and we are committed to doing the best we can with the responsibilities entrusted to us. A strong Plan begins with strong community insight—and that starts with you.
