Town Development ManagerTown Development Manager

Lee Dunkley is the Redruth Town Development Manager, and started working at the council in August 2010.  Lee has worked both in a finance department and as a researcher for local government for a number of years. Previously working with Children and Young People, Lee is now working to renew Redruth town centre.

The basis for the development of Redruth is the Redruth Action Plan Project (RAPP). This is divided in to four project plans: Promoting the town; Improving sites in the town; Retail and business; Signage and transport. Lee currently leads the Promotion and Site Improvement plans, and organises their ‘task and finish’ groups.

The Town Development Manager is also the first point of contact for publicising existing events in Redruth and developing new festivals, exhibitions, collections, shows and celebrations which take place in Redruth.
