Black and White theme for everybody!
Redruth is preparing to hold the “Biggest St Piran’s Day Celebration in Cornwall” this year. It is being undertaken by a partnership of Redruth Town Council, Redruth Rugby Football Club, Redruth Radio, Redruth and District Chamber of Commerce, and many others. We have many attractions confirmed and others currently being developed. This is set to be a town-wide event, beginning at 9am and going on until the small hours of Sunday. Other information:
The Redruth and District Chamber of Commerce are holding a window-dressing competition for all Redruth businesses, with a prize for the winner click here for more info
The theme of the day for everyone in Redruth is black and white. Dress in anything black and white – and bring flags along if you have them!
The normal car parks are open as usual – there is ample parking. There is no parking available to the general public at Redruth Rugby Club.
A Flea Market is taking place at St Andrew's Church Crypt, Clinton Road, between 10am-12:30pm.
For the most part all events are absolutely free of charge to everyone; however normal ticketing prices are in place to gain entry to the Rugby Club between 1pm and 3:45pm (£10 for over 16s; free for under 16s). All those who enter beforehand will not be charged and can still enjoy all the festivities, including the Rugby Match, completely free of charge.
