Site Improvement
The old Clotworthy's building (12 Fore Street) in the town centre has been improved by the site improvement task and finish group. It is in a prominent position in the pedestrianised area of the main shopping street. This is an interim measure pending fundamental redevelopment of the privately owned site. This work was completed on 17th November 2010. If you have any thoughts or comments, please contact the Town Development Manager on 01209 210038. |

IMPORTANT NEWS FOR LANDLORDS IN REDRUTH
Are you a landlord in Redruth with empty property or property which needs renovating?
Healthy Homes Landlord Loan
A Cornwall Council scheme offers to extend interest free loans to landlords to improve their properties. There is a small pot of money available and the loans are on a first come, first served basis. There are strings attached (such as restrictions about who the property may subsequently be let to).
Of particular interest is that loans are available for empty properties above commercial premises, of which we have a number in Redruth.
If you are interested in knowing more about the scheme, please contact Doreen Liddell, Team Support Officer, Healthy Homes Team (Mid),Cornwall Council,
Tel: 01726 223564.
