Welcome to the website of the Redruth Town Council; a valuable resource of information to all residents and visitors to the town. You can find out more about what happens within the Town Council and the wider Redruth area. We hope this site will be a two-way channel of advice, assistance and information between local residents and the Council. We want to involve more people in what is happening in and around the town, providing a platform for communication and discussion of important local issues and an insight into the town's organisation.
It is with deep regret that we have to announce the death of one of our friends and colleagues, Cllr James Carroll who sadly passed away on Monday 7th May 2012. Cllr Carroll had been a valued member of the Town Council since 2003 and his leadership and knowledge will be deeply missed, particularly on the Planning Committee of which he has been the Chairman for the last 5 years.

FIND OUT ABOUT THE CORNISH GLOBAL MIGRATION PROGRAMME
Did a Cornish-born member of your family migrate from anywhere in Cornwall to the remainder of the UK or overseas?
Is the name registered with the Cornish Global Migration Programme (CGMP)? IF NOT, WHY NOT?
Please help the CGMP to fit in all of the special pieces of this enormous jigsaw. Every name entered into this unique database helps to tell the story of this very special piece of Cornish history. The CGMP aim is to add to the 40,000 names already on the database and to preserve the facts and your family's names for our future generations.
Further information is available at Murdoch House, Cross Street, Redruth or Cornish Global Migration Programme or ring 01209 215736
