Tourist Information
The creation of a Tourist Information Centre cornishstudies.library@cornwall.gov.uk was a natural extension to the information and resources on offer in the adjacent Cornish Studies Library. Leaflets are provided for local attractions throughout
A series of walking trail leaflets are available, including Redruth town trails, see the link 'About Redruth'. Translations in French, German, Japanese, Cornish, Dutch and Spanish can be provided on request, a Braille version is available to borrow. Others are available for nearby villages and the local mineral tramways, a selection of local publications are available for purchase.
Local accommodation addresses can be provided from May to September. (There are also details on this website view 'About Redruth' section and click on 'Guest Houses in Redruth').
